Military Recruitment Strategy
As a certified MWBE, IMCS holds DE&I as a core value and assisting our clients in increasing diversity in their Contingent Workforce as a mission. We have created a Diversity Recruitment Program whose goal is to identify, qualify and present candidates from disadvantaged communities as well as veterans (and spouses) and women for roles in Life Sciences, STEM and Professional positions.
IMCS works with Federal and State Veterans organizations such as the US Department of Labor Hire Vets program and NC Biotechnology Center’s Military Outreach & Veterans Engagement (MOVE) as well LinkedIn and other Veterans professional groups to post jobs and participate in Veteran Job Fairs. IMCS also posts positions on Veteran related job boards such as Military.com, HigherVeterans.com, etc. We have built a significant database of Veterans with skills in IT, Clinical Research, Accounting, Procurement and Biomanufacturing.
IMCS also has the capability to Hire, Train, Deploy and Transition groups of Veterans that we train in entry level IT and Customer Service/Call Center skills which qualify them for positions in Network Administration, Help Desk, Desktop Support, Application Development and Call Centers. With access to over 350 training programs and numerous SMEs, we provide virtual and onsite training to small groups of veterans; then operating under MOUs with our clients we place graduates of the training program with our clients for a period of 6 months. During the contract period, IMCS provides ACA compliant health insurance benefits, 401K, PTO, Dental, Long-term Disability & Life insurance. Once the initial contract period is over, clients have the option of offering permanent employment with no fee from IMCS.
IMCS is committed to expanding our Military Recruitment capabilities by working with Military Base Transitioning groups as well as adding new State Life Sciences Veteran Hiring programs. As our database of qualified Veterans grows, we continue to prioritize their submittal to all appropriate job requirements.
